Audio-Video Synchronization

When the audio and video streams of the same recording are desynchronized, the interpretation of events becomes hard and sometimes misleading.

For example, when the audio and video streams are acquired with different devices, when the source device is defective, or when the audio-video file comes from proprietary video-surveillance systems, desynchronization between audio and video streams becomes very frequent.

FORLAB carries out the synchronization of the audio and video streams of the same recording by identifying the reason of desynchronization and applying specific software. The process of enhancement is properly documented in order to ensure the repeatability of all the applied operations.
